That Creative Spark

For work I am reading Twyla Tharp's The Creative Habit. Something I whole heartedly recommend. She has a list of 33 questions that are created to help one get to know their creative compass.

I will take on one for the next 33 days.

Planting seeds

spit on my plate

juicy red and

flowing

my chin sticky

with summertime

those back porch steps

would trellis vines

sure, sure

the six year old mind

saw a fertile crescent

that patch

broken glass, rusty nails

and scratched in

watermelon seeds
